Hi,
I need to add some fluid to my 2003 SL500 Roof Fluid Reservoir. I opened the allen screw (without the C on it) and tried to inject the fluid using a syringe, but it just flowed out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi....hope you can direct me here to fix this window issue. On a 1997 SL500 the DS window has stopped working ....completely...and of course the roof won't work.
I have checked the motor and it works fine. There is no power to the motor through the switch.
Here are the DTC I get:
-convenience micro switch L S86 R S87sl trunk S88sl
- front power window motor hall effect sensor not synchronized
- Left front power window motor hall effect sensor
Could the micro switch AND the hall sensor both fail at the same time?
Can these pieces be replaced without changing the motor?
Appreciate your help.

I've read many post today. But am new to this. Using your information I was able to troubleshoot my 2006 CLK500 convertible top problem.... The Main Lift Cylinder P/N 209 800 0872 is split in half. The piston is still in tact inside one half (I was able to pull the clip and remove the pin) . However; the other end is down towards the back passenger side seat, on the right rear quarter panel side. I cannot see the locking clip to pull the pin, but tried to feel for it with a small screwdriver. Is there an easy access to this clip ? Also, what is the trick to removing the hydraulic hose from the cylinder ?

Hi Klaus- My 99 clk320 top switch works but stays on. Trunk lock won't work with fob or inside switch. Do you have diagram to show where my trunk lock switch is located? When I turn it with skinny key all windows go down. When I cycle top, windows go down then try to go back up at end of cycle. Do I need to re train my windows to re sync with top? Help!
