    I live in La Center and just bought a 2004 SL55 with 17,000 miles on it.
    I have an aux Jack in the glove box and the car is equipped with SiriusXM.
    I have a wire connector that allows me to plug in my iPhone to the Aux Plug and the cigar lighter power. My desire is just the opposite of yours, I would like to run the Aux input to the cigar lighter area and power a usb and connect my iPhone to the Aux port.
    Do you have any photos of your disassembly and reassembly?
    It doesn't have a phone but the service records indicate that the kit was installed.
    Iy seems to allow my iPhone to connect to it via Bluetooth but nothing works through BT
