    Hello Jani,
I literally just threw this thing in the trash last week. Had it sitting on the shelf for years, thinking I'll someday fix the headlight housing. Since MB paid for a new headlight in full, I gave the old light away to some company who was trying to fix it. They couldn't so I abandoned the idea of having a spare. The cover is for the W212. It was designed specifically for this headlight. It had a big O-ring and a 1/4 turn bayonet lock. The inside of the lid has a plastic webbing to hold the desiccant bag.
Man, I wish your email came 1 week earlier, I could have taken some pics.
I'll ask my dealer buddy if he can come up with a part#.
BTW, the newer headlights have a different part #. The fogging is greatly reduced but not totally eliminated. Depending on the humidity, they fog up on the inside too, just not as much.

    Hi!
I noticed your post on a topic in mbworld.org.
Do have a partnumber for that headlamp servicecover?
I've asked several dealers in Finland, but no results for a this part. Is it from a w213, w212 or some other model?

And any pictures of the "hole" in the headlamp unit?

    Regards
    Jani Salminen
