I own a 2006 Mercedes E320 CDI OM648 (USA version). I saw on another forum that you were trying to do a swirl flap delete using a 4.7k resistor to fool the ECU. As I recall, this solution worked for the Euro model but there was some problem with trying to do this on the US model. Were you ever able to delete your swirl flaps? If so, did you leave the swirl flap motor connected or did you find an electrical solution?
