I have been a BMW enthusiast all of my adult life. MB didn't appeal to me at all. One day in the late 80's I saw an AMG W124 slammed and thought whoa! A friend of mine just purchase a 300D Turbo. We refreshed the eng, full suspension, trans, vacuum hoses. etc... The W124 is a well built auto. The big kicker for me was that the price of replacement parts were sooo cheap compared to BMW. I was hooked after that ordeal and started looking. The Hammer/500E are out of reach at this time, but after continued search and a bit of help from a good friend I have a lock on a Blk/Blk W124 400E. Yes I will get it looking as close as possible to the AMG I saw in the late 80's. I was in Japan so if you know about the Yakuza you can imagine the looks of the car.

While researching I found out about potential wire harness, vacuum hose and pwr steering hose degrades.

Where to find a set of 3pc AMG Monoblock wheels needing refinished.
What is the largest offset I can have have without poke? ( I like deep dish rims, but want to be as flush as possible.
