Thank you very much for the info, I will give Specialized German a call about the ECU what do you mean by make sure the numbers match? What type of power numbers did OE end up getting for you?

    Good evening
Just saw your post and wanted to share some info with you. I just had my .'12 E63 tuned by OE tuning in LA. Very nice to work with. I purchased a second ECU and had them program it no problem. Make sure if you do get a 2nd ECU it's numbers match !!!!! I paid $400 for the ECU and $1000 for the tune. AMS can do the tune but will charge you to do the matching. AMS is quite a bit more expensive than OE. Turn around time was 1 day, like most tuners.

I got my ECU from Specialized German in Rancho Cordova CA, (I'm in Folsom) They have a web site Specialized German.com 877-643-7626. Any big foreign recycler can get them so don't worry. VF Engineering is a top quality outfit.but probably more expensive than OE
