Do you recall at all what I do with the adapter for hi-beams for the W220 bi-xenon swap. I understand that the main plug is a 1:1 connections, and I have found procedures for adapting the auto-level feature, and I have found multiple threads regarding the bi-xenon feature and what is done with the brown wire, and to ground with the adapter, however, where from the existing 2000 S500 does the brown wire originate from?

I live in Germany and have a nice 1999 W220 with Comand 2.5 w/ Bose audio.

Now I want to replace the Comand 2.5 with a Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT.

From another post of you at MBWorld.org I figured out how to do the double DIN kit so that it fits nicely.

But the BIG question is how to handle the connectors, etc. Did you remove the Bose amp? If yes, where is it located?

Any help about how to connect a Pioneer would be appreciated very much!!!
