    Hi there,

Actually I have read you comment at very old topic which was about W463 engine fan noise and the German trick to allow better summer cooling.

"Bottom line on the German tip is: Remove the 3 piece rubber sealing strip that runs along the top of the engine firewall and seals against the back of the hood. Removing it will allow more cooling air to flow through and out of the engine compartment. This escaping hot air will also help to minimize the wipers from freezing up in the winter, which is a real problem on the G."

Actually I'm newbie and I couldn't figure out where these pieces does located or if there is newer method to reduce the engine fan working on my 2003 G500 ( I have searched for bigger engine radiator or different fan system that does make quieter sound like the new G class models but with no luck.
So please if you can help me and guide me for these three pieces which were described on the post or if you have any idea I will be greatly thankful.

    Thanks
