Hi there! sorry for the delayed response - I don't check this forum as much as I used to. If you haven't already figured it out, I found it easiest to start from the back of the trunk area and pull the carpet out from under the trim panel, then working my way around left and right side. It's fairly stiff and like a tub so you can't hurt it - just give it some elbow grease and it will come right out. Reinstall is pretty much the same in reverse. Hope that helps!
