Thanks JohnnyC. Good to hear that it is only glue and no clips.

It is easy but time consuming.

You need a heat gun (like from Milwaukee, harbor freight, Steinel, or Wagner), fishing line, and glue remover safe for automotive paint. You heat up the the chrome side trim to release the glue, then slowly work the fishing line to cut the glue. use the chemical to clean up.

If you can find a detailer or vinyl wrap shop they can usually do it for between $80-$200. I would not personally do it myself again, takes 30-45 minutes per door and the trim is over $100 each at the dealer if you decide to put it on again.

    Hey dbtk,

I live in SF and am looking to lease or buy a c250 in SF. Would you be able to help me out? or maybe put me in contact with one of your guys out here that could?

    Thanks in advance!

Hello, I know you listed your CT contact at Danbury however I'm in northern NJ and have been getting absurd deals put together for a 36 month lease on a c250. Do you think it would be worth giving your sales guy a call and discussing options with him or do you think the deal he was extending to you is no longer applicable, being it's been a few months since your original post in the lease details thread? Thanks for your time! -John

Hello my name is Ray and I am looking to buy an CLS550 but debating between Danbury and Greenwich CT dealers. But seeing your discount from the post I think Danbury would be a good choice. I am wondering if Dan Sawyer is familiar with European Delivery cuz I am keen to do that with the CLS. Thanks for your reply!

My sales guy is Dan Sawyer at Danbury Mercedes. He can be reached at 203.778.6333 or 203.778.6554. Tell him Derick TeeKing sent you. That way he will be less of a bs'er as most sales people are. Ask him about the C coupe deal that he was extending to me. Best of luck and let me know how things work out. I will also let him know that you will be calling him. What is your real name?

Hey thanks for your insight on the lease thread for the c250 coupe. Didn't think I was getting any sort of deal. You think you could forward me your salesperson's info in CT? I live in Miami, Fl but going to have to pay transportation one way or another because they don't tend to stock any coupes with lighting package here =\
