I'm located in Trinidad, in the Caribbean. I haven't actually taken delivery of my car yet, it's on order, so I have no clue what the dash is like for the region I'm in. I'm not sure if there was room on the dash for installation of a 3" midrange. I to wanted to go with a 3way front stage. Ideally using Focal, and using passives for the tweets / midrange, and having an active connection run to the woofers in the doors. I'm planning on doing a single seat judged install with time correction to fix the imaging. Hopefully I'll get some pics up when I get started on it.

The front stage would most likely consist of a 2 or 3 way component set. The door is a 6.5". I have considered installing a set of Image Dynamics Ultra Competition HLCD MIni Size Horns under the dash or under the vents on top of the dash. I have a set of MB Quart QSD216's which I have installed the tweeters from. I have been holding off on installing the mids in the doors. Removal of the door is incredibly easy but I just haven't taken the time to do it. Be careful if you try to remove the grilles on the top of the dash. The are held in place with strange tabs with right-angle connectors that will crack the supports if not removed properly. BTW- where are you located?
