    I didn't figure it out and it hasn't leaked since. I think there must be some over pressure purge safety valve in one of the pipes someplace or maybe the pump itself.
    Anyway, it doesn't hurt to flush it. Make sure you use two new filters. Fluid only returns to the reservoir when the suspension moves - that's why you need to rodeo it. It is quite manageable but always have someone help you to have the next open ready can of new fluid ready. You will need 12-14 liters in total. Keep doing it until you see fresh green fluid coming back on the return. Then run the rodeo on two sessions of 15 mins each with a new filter, then change the filter again and top-up.
