Hi Marcus...i was looking over your post from a few years ago regarding your sunroof not closing. I have the same issue. When i push the side baffle/ramps inward...it helps..but they start walking back outward once i run the sunroof
Mines ALMOST closes all the way now without assistance.
Can they be tightened somehow? are they held on with a screw from the inside that is hopefully accessible by removing the 'oh ****' handle?
Thanks for any help on this.

The pads are available at the dealer, but I think #1 pads are out of production/no longer available. Here are the sizes and the part numbers (remembering that 5mm pads may no longer be available)
    Front:
    210-321-01-84 5mm
    210-321-02-84 9mm
    210-321-03-84 13mm
    210-321-04-84 17mm
    210-321-05-84 21mm

    Rear:
    210-325-01-84 5mm
    210-325-02-84 9mm
    210-325-03-84 13mm
    210-325-04-84 17mm
    210-325-05-84 21mm

thatsmered, unfortunately, I don't know what's causing that problem. A couple of questions, how old is the battery, and when this occurs, have you checked battery voltage using the HVAC? If so, what voltage are you seeing?

When I installed a new battery, I was able to use jumper cables to the connection under the box cover. I used the jumper cable so as not to lose any settings (radio, windows, sunroof, etc.). If your jumper cables are too big, you may want to use small gauge wires (14, 12, or 10). The trunk release solenoid doesn't use much juice, so those wires should be big enough. Just to ensure we're talking about the same electrical box under the hood, there a picture at this web page - http://www.marcusfitzhugh.com/CLK/DIY/battery.html

Also, been looking at those battery chargers that you hook up to your cigarette lighter. Without the battery would it do the same thing? Thanks for any help.....

I recently took my battery out and closed the trunk as did another member last May. Your post was excellent and I found the electrical box you were referring to, but couldn't got a good connection with jumper cables. Is there another way to get electrical current to those screws? Also, I didn't removed the plastic box. Is that a big deal? Any suggestions would be helpful.
