    Some workshop manuals have that sort of detail but unfortunately many simply list part numbers not their specifications. You'll have to try some hunting around, try libraries for a full tear down maintenance manual for your engine.

    A roots blower is a curious choice. They run very hot with varying engine speeds and are extremely inefficient for petrol motors, they work well in diesels only because they're simple and robust, and diesels never used to rev much. You can make them work on a drag strip because you control engine temp by the simple fact it only runs for a few minutes at a time.

    Second issue is roots heat up the intake charge so much going through the vanes that you're going to have hot boosted air issues and pinging problems at much lower boost than you would with a centrifugal.

    Another tricky bit is your intake manifold is a variable runner type. You'll have to bin it and fabricate up a new one for a roots, or any blower.

    first off thanks for the informative right up. So per our discussion, I was curious about designing a root's style supercharger for the car. That being said, I was wondering if you knew where I can find the specs for the intake manifold. In particular, the port sizes.
