There is a thread on the R231 forum about an SL “sound generator.” We REALLY need your help on this one. Just exactly WHAT is this thing and how does it work? There are photos.
I believe that YOU know more than anyone on this entire site and I love reading your comments.

Hi. Well these old bones of mine (had 2 hips, shoulder and knee replaced) are going to get the best of me. Getting into the footwell has been a tough position for me, but I was able to manage it. Got the slide to slide out easily, however had to do some pushing and pulling to get the tight fitting filter out. And, that didn't compare to having to muscle the old filter out and then really work hard to get the new one in. It is now securely locked into place. Of course, there is one last problem...can you guess what it is? I've secured the two electric plugs back into place, but for the life of me I can't get the glovebox cover back into its proper place; it's like fitting a square peg into a round hole. The floor carpeting can't be pulled back because it runs as one piece from the floor and up the walls of the footwell. There must be some clever way to fit this thing in???

    Hey Joe,

I saw in a thread awhile back you offered to customize a pulley so that a V12 W-220 7 rib pulley could be put on a V8 6 rib power steering pump. I'm deleting ABC on my 05 s600 and need just that. Is that still something you offer? if so how much would it cost?

    Thanks, Sam

Scratch that Joe, I did not transfer fuse 5 7.5amp over when installing new sam.
It powers ipod integration kit which is used for can communication.
