My name is Shawn. I was going through older posting in regards to an issue someone had with their 95 E320 wagon. They had lost reverse, and you stated that you had some information on this type of problem. I have a 95 E320 sedan. When I bought it, it had reverse only when it was cold, but when it warmed up, the situration changed. I was told by a trans shop that seals in this trans tend to shrink, or get small cracks in them, so I went to USA lubricants, and ordered White Sheppard trans seal reconditioner. Now, I have no reverse. Is it possible that it worked, but now I have fluid trapped where it does not belong? Any help in this matter would be of great use to me. I have been reading what I could find about the B3 what ever they are called (I have heard it called a valve pack, clutch break, and piston. I am confused).

    hey there,

I remember a while back your wagon wasn't running well and you couldn't determine the problem. It has been a year since I drove my TE and I had to have it taken to a shop to get it back on the road with bad fuel and dry pistons...etc. Anyways, the mechanic had symptoms similar to the problems you seemed to have, and it is apparently a common but little known issue of having a bad distributor cap cover. The black plastic cover that covers the distributor cover can get a carbon build up which causes the ignition system to work but then it will short out/ground causing the car to run very poorly even with new cap and rotors.

I know it has been a while, but it just came to me sitting here and I thought I would drop you a line just in case you were still chasing that gremlin.

What's up man! Which Bosch spark plugs should I use for my M103? Im going to put a Bosch cap and rotor on as well sounds like it should work in unison pretty well since im using Bosch.
