    Hello Mr. Ruck,
I am having a problem with my sons '07 C230. The details are in a post in theW203 forum. I would appreciate if you could take a look and let me know your thoughts. I swapped out the Cam Position Sensor that corresponded with the DTC, the RH intake location this evening with no improvement. I should have a new MAF sensor tomorrow.

sr301 ~ when you first pull away with cold Cats the car is supposed to hold gears & run to higher RPM than normal to heat the Cats quickly. Drive the car immediately from cold & it should settle down very quickly. If it continues to be erratic it might need the ECU to be reflashed.

    Hi Glyn
I trust you are well. I'm from Cape Town and own a C230 Coupe (2005, 2.5 V6). The car's perfect except for one issue which I'm trying to resolve.
In the morning I'll start her up, warm her up, then engage reverse and move out of my driveway. Thereafter I engage Drive and pull away slowly. About 5 seconds later, the revs will climb to about 3000rmp. I'll tap off and then the car engages 2nd gear. I'll stop at the stop street, then i pull away normally, no climbing revs. I can drive all day no issues. When I go to work and park my vehicle same thing as the car stands for about 6 hours. When the vehicle is warm, no issues.
If you can potentially give me an idea of what could possibly be at fault, please let me know on "[email protected]" or you can call me on "082 895 1025".
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Have an awesome weekend.
    Kind regards

Hi Glyn, i'm located in Gauteng, Johannesburg.
    I need advise w.r.t the fuel pump in my 2003 C180 (W203).
I think I need to change the fuel pump (under the rear seat) but I don't know which one is it between the two units, left or right.
The unit on the LHS has an electrical wire connecting to it. but on the unit on the RHS I do not see any visible wire connecting to it.
I believe one unit is a level sensor & one is the actual fuel pump.
Question is: Which one is the actual pump? Note,
my car is a R/H drive as I'm in South Africa.
    Your help will be appreciated.

    Hi Mr Ruck,
I have a 2006 CLS 350, with the "Tumble flap shafts stick in the actuator" code. Is that the broken manifold flap broken that needs to be replaced or it can be something more? Can you assist with the spares if any?

Lee ~ usually means shaft bushings on flaps have broken or external lever or both.

    Hi Mr. Ruck,

I'm going back to a 2009 post where you said you had a document explaining error code P0012 A camshaft position timing over - retarded bank 1
If by chance you still have that document and the time can you send a copy to: [email protected]

Also just got two more codes today and have not had time to research, so if you have anything on error codes: P2006 and P0022
I would greatly appreciate it. I just bought the car and I don't want to destroy anything by continuing to drive with error codes.

Again thanks for your time and consideration!

Best Regards, Safe Motoring and no error codes,

Steve Jones from Sunny South Florida

Can you give me my post number?
