Bi-Zenon headlight assembly for 2002 ML500 problem.
My passenger side headlight unit died and rather than buy one from the my dealer in Canada who wanted $1800, I picked one up from a US website for $650 (it was new and direct shipped from Hella USA).
I ordered part number 163.820.56.61
Unfortunately it didn't work on my car. My MB dealer had a look at it and said that the unit itself was faulty and my car was fine. They also said it was missing a "H" pin. When I asked my service rep if I had ordered the correct one he said that according to his computer the part number I needed was 163.820.56.61.64 (same as above but with an extra .64 suffix).
I was wondering if I did order the wrong one or if the extra ".64" was just an internal MB Canada suffix.
Any help would be appreciated.
