2002 (W163) ML500 Rear Passenger Window
I'm hoping someone can help me determine what part I'm looking to replace. My daughter was waiting in the rear passenger seat, and decided it was such a nice day that she'd hang her feet out the window. I suspect that the weight of her legs resting upon the window edge broke the lifter somewhere inside the door because it would not raise the window after this incident. The motor works fine, but the window apparently popped off the track and wouldn't move.
A friend of mine who does aftermarket auto customization helped me to locate the broken piece and secure the window before the wind and rain came sweeping down the Oklahoma plains. I've been trying to figure out what the piece broke off from and/or find an exploded view diagram.
Here are pictures of the piece recovered. I would really appreciate the help to figure out which piece of the window lifter &/or regulator she broke.
