Engine oil
I just hit 2k miles on my C63S and I got message in my car saying add 1qt of engine oil. Does anyone know what type of engine oil is needed?
Ps: still can't get my head around that it needs oil at 2k

It might not, as some are reporting warning it is low with dip stick showing it is not and might be bad sensor.
The oil shows in manual as either 0w40 or 5w40 synthetic
and a change is 9.4 q (9l)
Might be a good time to do first oil change and have dealer check sensor if dip stick shows full.

Thanks guys. This happened few days after my rear differential fluid change. Had it done by dealership.
Let me check the oil level and see if it's sensor issue or it actually needs oil.
