I hope you have been reading about McLaren being stripped its points because of team orders
stupid Ron Dennis told the world - he had team orders from the start of the race
what a moron...it backfired on him
And no im not against team orders, but if you bluntly admit it-when theirs rules against it --what do you want me to do ?
let the FIA just stand there looking dumb ? they did whatever they could to stop Ferrari and MS...maca has a flexy wing and it passed scrutning...well many parts of Ferrari that flex have passed scruting but we have a Ronny boy running to the FIA as usual, and then we change them so they wont *****...i hope Maca gets a taste of its own medicne...and all because they shot themselfs in their own foot
morons
Besides, Ferrari is the king of team orders... and I'm not talking about Ruben's moving over for MS. In fact, Ferrari is the king of giving everyone orders (Norberto Fontana and Jerez 97 come to mind)
FIA doing whatever they could to stop Ferrari? Is that what you are resorting to? Complaining about other teams components... you have a short memory. Remember Renault's mass dampers? Remember 2005 and Ferrari's single win? I wonder who pushed FIA into those decisions.
Anyway, it's a well known fact that maFIA and Jean Todt are in bed together.

cLaren escape Monaco sanctionsActions in Monte Carlo deemed 'entirely legitimate'
30/05/07 15:42

The Monaco Grand Prix saw Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton finish first and second with the team McLaren Mercedes admitting afterwards that the duo were not permitted to race each other beyond the first pit stop. On Monday the FIA launched an investigation into a possible breach of the Sporting Regulations, but today confirmed no action will be taken.
The team were naturally happy with the decision. "We are completely comfortable with the FIA’s investigation into our race strategy and that all decisions taken both before and during the race were completely in compliance with the international sporting code."
The following is a press release from the FIA.
‘Having studied the radio traffic between McLaren Mercedes and its drivers, together with the FIA observer’s report and data from the team, it is clear that McLaren’s actions during the 2007 Monaco Grand Prix were entirely legitimate and no further action is necessary.
The facts
1. A two-stop strategy is the optimum at Monaco unless the safety car is deployed, in which case one-stop can sometimes be better.
2. The safety car has been deployed during four of the past five Monaco Grand Prix.
3. Under current rules the choice between a one-stop and two-stop strategy must be made before the final qualifying period.
4. It is clear from FIA measurements taken after qualifying that McLaren fuelled Hamilton for five more laps than Alonso.
5. This allowed Hamilton the option of a one-stop strategy should the safety car have come out during his first stint.
6. The safety car was not deployed.
7. The McLaren was significantly faster at Monaco than any other car.
Background
The primary objective of any team is for one of their drivers to win. If this can be achieved they will try to ensure their other car finishes second.
With no safety car during Alonso’s first stint, there was a small but finite risk that it would come out during the five laps before Hamilton had to refuel. This would have put him behind the field and at a significant disadvantage to any car on a full (as opposed to optional) one-stop strategy. The latter cars would be expected to refuel around lap 40 – ie after the safety car had pitted if it came out during Hamilton’s extra laps.
For similar reasons Hamilton was called in early for his second pit stop, thus assuring his second place, with or without a safety car.

Nola, did you understsand what i said ?
here let me make it bigger for you
I'M NOT AGAINST TEAM ORDERS
Team orders is PART of F1... do you understand that ?
Stop trying to turn this into Ferrari this and that...thats called whinning...
I dont care if Maca used team orders, thats part of F1, some idiots have ruined the sport for what it is, if they dont like it they can kiss ***- but they dont- they whinne.
As far as i'm concern it was Maca who went crying to the FIA about Renualt last year, would you like me to dig up the articles so you can zip it foo?
And i'm glad Maca was not stripped its points, cuz then we would hear whinning at the end of the season.. i just think it was retarded what Ron said to the press, to try to play phycological(Sp) games on the opponents..it back fired on him
FIA investigation, i dont think he was to happy about that and im sure it had at least a tiny effect on how the TEAM is devolping the car- by not focusing on that 100%.
anyways that still dosent make me happy...we still got royally walked at monaco, our team should be focus in making the F2007 more reliable and making it earth proof for kimi---because bullet proof isnt good enough

EG, the thing is that you're quick to jump to conclusions without thinking things through. F1 is a thinking man's sport. You'll enjoy it more.
Anyway, another angle on Ron's moronic comments, is that he could have said there were team orders when there weren't so that media and FIA would start focusing on team orders. Right now, Ferrari has the highest need for team orders... but Ron Dennis has just made it a lot more difficult for everyone else to use team orders this years, similar to what he did with the flexifloors. With Kimi (arguably) being the faster driver, not having team orders means that Kimi and Massa will take points from each other. Maybe he's not such a moron after all.

How does he know Kimi is faster then Massa? all we have seen is Kimi fail- so dont make up conclusions that you cant support.. The ice man is failing, and at the rate hes going hes going to be as bad as Sato if he dosent clean up his act.
The one that needs team orders right now because they are TIED in points is your buddy- Fonzi. Hammy is killing his *** just like Massa is killing Kimi, end of story.
As i said, team orders are part of F1s history...E and i spoke about this over the phone and i will agree with E- that sometimes Ferrari did go a bit extreme but hey it takes a strong mind to run a team-- in F1 theirs no IFS/MAYBEs or in your case crystal *****

true, ron Dennis just made it extremly difficult for ferrari, since team orders are used anyway. now they just have to be more subtle about them. However i also do beleive that R Dennis will REGRET doing that because mclaren use them as much as ferrari, especially if they are in a situation where the are likley to compete for the titles.
McLaren doesn't have a clear no. 1 driver right now so team orders should not yet be on the picture. However, they are beating Massa so Massa needs to pick up every point he can get. Kimi is no Sato and eventually he'll wake up, and when he does he'll do so with a vengeance looking to at least beat Massa to save face. This plays into Mclaren's hands: If Kimi will take points away from the leaders, it should be from all 3. If he only takes points from McLaren then Massa closes in on the Championship. So, McLaren almost needs Kimi to wake up, and when he does, they need him to take aim at Massa. This is not possible with team orders, but that hand has been played this year. At the very least it is more difficult to pull off, so you need a very willing driver. I don't see Kimi being that very willing driver.
I don't think it's the car, Massa has shown how fast it is. I really think Kimi is just jinxed. Too much of a coincidence that he's having similar problems this season with Ferrari as he did last season with McLaren.
Either way, yeah you got walked on........
We didnt get walked on.... they RAN from us
- we got owned-pwned-slaugher etc.Oh well thats life... i think Massa is a brilliant driver and i'll stand by the kid
and i'm glad we agree on that

where did you get that from?
he used to drive like massa used to drive but has now calmed down more, for all we know he's just as good as massa
1) Ferrari has had team orders since 1959. It has never been so clear as the first day Michael Schumacher joined the team, nor as ambiguous since the day MS left.
2) Raikkonen should be wiping the floor with Massa. That he isn't is not a jinx. He is not properly focused. He needs to wake up, before he finds himself a Ferrari cast-off. That will put paid to a brilliant, but short, career.
3) To their credit, McLaren has clearly stepped it up, and the tables are turned. Last year's dog is performing well this year.
4) Rather than quibbling over team order controversies, I wonder instead when Ferrari will file the protest over the movable McLaren front wing. Probably when Ferrari has the most to gain, such as a McLaren 1-2 and Ferrari 3-4. Maximum point swing that way.
That bridge wing over the McLaren nose clearly moves down under heavy aero load. Not convinced here that it is an advantage, but it clearly moves and is no different that the flexing in the Ferrari's last year. Completely irrelevant on the slow Monaco circuit. If Ron were smart, he would install a small post supporting the bridge before the unload at Montreal, Indy for sure., to stiffle the inevitable protest if he doesn't.
Personally, I think the Ron Dennis comment at Monaco was a calculated, premptive strike... after the finger was pointed his way at Monaco, the FIA will be less trigger-happy to pick on him (so soon) over the wing issue, which is far more important. As Nola says, F1 is all a mind game today. savvy?
Really provides an insight into how much strategy and Plan B-planning and thinking really goes into increasing the odds of and winning these brutally competitive races; it ain't just the car and the driver.
"Let the races resume."
