Renault 1-2 in qualifying.... HUH?
That's right, Renault went 1-2 in qualifying, this new format trulli is making this one of the most interesting seasons in a LONG time, pun intended. Fernando Alonso in his rookie year took pole, who would have even begun to imagine? The high end teams are definetly running a LOT of fuel because in the first qualifying session MS made a 1:34.9xx with the fastest McLaren doing a 1:36.8xx. The last time a Renault was on pole was Patrick Tambay in 1984, this is huge!
Anyways, the quality of the feed from Malaysia is lacking, these little cut in's and out's of sound and picture are ridiculous, Bernie must be PO'ed! On Kimi's flying lap, they were showing DC on his cool down lap going into pit lane rather than Kimi crossing the line. And where is Rick De Bruhl?
