My car is dead........
I just returned from a 1 week vacation last night. When I walked into my garage, I was confused because the blinking red alarm light wasn't blinking. So I try to open my door (keyless entry) and nothing is happening. My remote wasn't working either and I just replaced the battery. I eventually open the door with the little key attached to my remote and my car is like totally dead; Nothing is working including interior lights or starter on my shifter. I can't even stick the key in my ignition and turn it because it won't let me turn the stupid key.
Is this just a battery issue? is it possible that my car would act like this from just the battery? It seems weird that Im getting no sign of life.
Anyone know what this could be? All the MB dealers are closed today.

I just tried to jump the car and it didn't want to turn over. When I connected the jumper cables, the car at least woke up in the sense that the lights came on and I was able to use my key. Unfortunately the car just made clicking noises when I tried to start it. Maybe it's the alternator or something else.
What do you think?

Late model Mercedes cars do a module fault code self check, which would drain a border line battery, especially if not started often. The life span of a battery is about three years.
Leave the jumper cables on longer, about 15minutes and confirm a good connection on both batteries, make sure the key is OUT of the ignition until you are ready to start it.

Thanks for all your help.
I called roadside and they came to my house. He changed the battery after testing it (it was dead) and it didn't cost me at all since the car is under warranty. I really missed my car while I was away.
