Fog Lamp Condensation

Fog Lamp Condensation
The fog lamps on my E-55 wagon always have condensation build-up. Dealer checked them out, said lamps were okay. Official response: MB tech bulletin says this is normal and will burn off during use. But it seems ridiculous to turn on fogs just to burn off the water. Does anyone else have this problem?

If the MB Tech bulletin says condensation is normal and should go away with use, that's an admission that the lights are leaky. I do not, for example, ever see condensation in my W203's fogs, which I hardly ever use. Bad design and/or manufacture and/or poor integration of the lamp into the bodywork, I'd say.

Absolutely be more assertive and insisted that they change them, new ones, or seal them, especially with that low mileage, how did they arrive at that conclusion, did they perform a” water check” on your lights as per MB.
Do you have a fax number, I can send you a copy of this bulletin, if you do PM it to ME
