Car still shaking at idle...

So my 2003 CLK55 (48,000 miles) has been shaking in an annoying manner at idle. The car runs smoothly in all other circumstances. I noticed that the shaking increases in intensity the longer the car is idling. I also noticed that it idles the least when it is in drive, and the most when in neutral or park.

I JUST had the motor mounts changed last week. Apparently, even though they were shot it wasn't the reason the car was shaking.

The idle itself appears to be smooth. I don't hear the engine hiccup or anything. I just feel a rocking every once in a while.

Could this be a MAF or timing issue?

The 55 engines do tend to have a bit of a rough idle even when new.

As long as engine mounts are ok and it's fine when driving then I wouldn't worry about it.

They have a rough idle due to the larger bore/stroke, larger cam and larger injectors.

The 2.4L v6 has such a short stroke that even when a cylinder is shutdown it only feels slightly rough, some people can only tell due to a drop in power

I never knew that, thank you. I was definitely a little worried since you can feel the whole car move sometimes, haha.
