Usually you have to take the car to MB or call roadside. This procedure (according to roadside from Alexandria Mercedes) is NOT free. It cost me. Anyhow- I watched the tech and this is what he did below:
Just get the doors open then open the fuse console that is along the drivers door on the outside of your dashboard- the door closes on it. Pull out the 4 fuses on the left (7.5 and 5 amps) and then wait a few secs- put them back in and see if the door unlock switch works. If it does- the security system is deactivated and you can use the trunk release to open the trunk. Tech said that if those fuses don't work- pull 4 at a time till you get to the right ones. I tried it in my ml and it worked as well.
TECH MENTIONED THIS WILL WORK FOR ALL NEWER MODELS.

Hello itsmeek
Your instructions helped 1/2 way. I got the fusebox open, only 1 fuse wire connected -- I unplugged - waited several seconds and re-plugged. The door lock switch worked! But the trunk release did not work.
Is there anything else I need to know? I have a 2008 C300 and keys locked in trunk (I lost my spare keys)
Thanks!

Literally just bought my W220 this morning and locked the only keys I had in the trunk tonight
I first tried the fuses on the cabin dashboard but it didn't work for me.
I next tried the fuse box under the right rear seat and pulling the 20A fuse for the "Remote closing and locking trunk lid; Remote trunk lid release; Trunk interior non-locking switch". I pulled the fuse and reinserted a few seconds later and was actually able to pop the trunk using the button on the trunk itself.
I will now be ordering an extra set of keys!
