That code can be stored intermitantly and is usuall irrelivant. If the engine stalled whilst driving and could be restarted for at least 5 mins and it the the V6 model (not the inline 6) then it's most likely to be a failed crank angle sensor (CPS). This won't leave a fault code.

If the symptons are different then let us know what occured when the engine stopped.

hey sorry for the latee reply. ok so pretty much before the the car stopped running, its was driving perfectly, no check engine light nothing. i got home I changed the battery in the key fob and after that it didnt start. I thought the key wasnt synced so I followed the manuals directions and and synced and nothing. I checked the valve on the fuel rail to see if i had a bad fuel pump or relay but gas was shooting out of the valve. also checked spark and that was good.

that same day I went to pep boys to grab some starter fluid, it turned on , made some clanking noise and a cloud of smoke was shooting out of the exhaust. and shut off.

following day I had it towed to a mechanic they hooked up the computer and thats what came up.
can communication failure to engine control module .

ok so I changed the crank angle sensor or position sensor and saame thing, turns over but doesnt start.

I forgot to add, when i changed the batteries on the key fob I thought the battery was dead so I went bought new batteries ,still didnt work but I didnt make anything of it. I opened it up and theirs this metal piece where the batteries sit on, my finger hit it and it got loose.

the weird thing is, when I try to start the car the lights on the rear view mirror. dont go off
