I have an E430 W210 98. And this is my 2nd time my window motor and cable got all tangled up. The first time I took it Penske Mercedes-Benz dealer to have it repair under warranty. That was almost 1.5 years ago. Now my window failed again. Same problem, I took the door panels apart and the cables are all tangled.

My question is, how much would something like this cost from the dealer, and how much it would cost for a job from a Mercedes repair shop? I just need an average figure.

I got quoted from a Mercedes shop for $175 installed out the door. I thought it might be a bit much. I thought it would be around $130-$150.

any input would be greatly appreciated.
