Wheel change and Tire Presure Monitoring???

I'm strongly considering upgrading my 17" Sport package wheels to the 18" AMG wheel. My questions is: Do I need to consider anything since I also have the MB Tire Pressure Monitoring option. Is this options "swapable" to the new wheel? Does the wheel size change matter? How is the PSI monitoring device attached to the wheel? Any help appreciated.... Mark

the pressure sensor is part of the valve stem. As long as it is not damage it can be moved to any other wheel. That little sensor transmits a signal to a reciver in the wheel housing and reports to a control modual and sent to the display. You will have to reset the system afterwards. Make sure a MB dealer dose the work so nothing gets messed up.
