problem with locking mechanism in shifter. there is a plastic mechanism that releases shifter when brake is pressed. they are plastic and have a tendency to break. many posts and do it yourself about this.

Which is it?
Does the batt have +13V. Dash or headlights lighting up doesn't confirm you have sufficient voltage to turn the starter.
Does the steering wheel lock retract when the key is inserted.
Tried a second key.
Undone what you did that broke it and reinstalled the part.
Confirmed independently that you installed the correct part# yet.
If the key turns, does it crank and not start? Not crank?
Tried starting in Neutral?
Manually released the shifter and try starting in N yet?
Got codes?

Key turns and doesnt crank, bat voltage is fine, havent changed any parts, fault just occured, wont start in neutral.seems like there is a live feed missing somewhere but all fuses seem fine
