ENGINE WASHED BY WATER

ENGINE WASHED BY WATER
MERCEDES BENZ SE 300.
took it to the car wash and washed the car , the ENGINE washed by water as well. after that the car starts and i drove it , but, suddenly it stoped and now it doe's not start.......
IF THIS HAPPENED TO ANY ONE !! DOES IT NEED TIME TO START AGAIN, ONE DAY OR MORE ,
IS THIS A SERIOUS PROBLEM !!

i would hope no water made its way through the intake system if it did its probable that the engine is hydrolocked and is basically a boat anchor at that point. does the engine crank with no start? or does nothing happen at all when you turn the key?

When I bought a Mercedes, the 1st thing going through my mind was what can I do to preserve all that electronics from my side.
Electronics and water do not mix.
Electronics, temperature above 35c and moist does not mix.
I have whitnessed the results over time, shocking, and macro photos reveal the corrotion the naked eye do not see at a glance.
Conclusion:Taken for a service, no wash outside, no wash inside, unless the wash is performed by a top qualified individual, understanding this.
So...., so far I am the only person washing my car, I never washed the engine bay, luckily the design helps.
