you must own the first 2004 CLK in Florida. Congrats!
Glad to see that your 2003 is history. Hope that the defects are history as well -- after the rattle.
Did MB agree to "lemonize" the 2003?
Thank you.
The local servicing dealer did nothing to help nor did the Fl rep from our area. My selling dealer Glauser (Sarasota) and my rep Dave Wachs stepped in and within 48hrs I had an order in for a new 04...they are THE best I've ever dealt with.
I remember the horror you went through when the headliner had to come out of your 55 and the techs got grease everywhere, so I'm trying to handle the little things myself especially since I've got stone interior. The car in black with stone really looks great and the black paint looks amazing after a nice hand wash/wax but the silver I had on my last 3 CLK's was so much easier to care for.
Regards,
Glad to hear that there are good MB dealerships like Glauser/Sarasota in Florida. My 55 actually came from a MB dealership in Gainesville. It must have been a cancellation.
Best wishes for an enjoyable driving experience with this new '04.

Move from Florida's east coast to the gulf coast, which is so much more civil and customer/service oriented.
However, here at the Pompano MB dealership I receive free brushless unlimited car washes, gourmet coffees, windshield wiper replacements...
Does MB Glauser/Sarasota provide any perks?

And not to mention the Glauser girls sent to my hotel room*
