Weired S600 93 Coupe problem
My S 600 got a weired problem, While driving from start the gear is so smooth and got all the speeds , but if I reduce my speed the gear box doesn't shift to a lower speed and the ASR light goes on and the car doesn't accelerate and the engine comes to a stand still. When turning the car off and on again the car runs normally for few meters then the ASR light is on again and the engine doesn't take petrol.
Does anyone know what is the problem coz I don't want the garage to do anything other than the real problem. I don't like them to play with my car.

Transmission goes in limp mode, it stays in the gear it is in?
Doe you have the correct wheels and tires, any differences front/rear? Otherwise it can be a rpm sensor problem, e.g. wheel(s) or internal transmission rpm,...(Star diagnosis would help a lot).
Most likely the ASR light and the transmission problem will have something to do with eachother.

The Tyre are of the same size, but you are right it is in the limp mode. the car stay on the same gear and doesn't change and doesn't accelerate either. When I press on the accelerator the car starts poping. I don't know if this is Limp mode.
So, is it a big deal or not.
