Hello to all ! I was trying to find some information on my 2002 Mercedes Benz S430 rear will drive out a few months ago I replace some ball joints in the front driver side accidentally hitting the air suspension shock bought a new one and put it on the car was jacked up for about a month after I put the new part on the car literally never had this problem it always raise it up but for some reason I can't get it to go back up and was trying to find out from some of the friends here what should I try to do to get it to go back up what do I need to check if anyone has answer that can help me it will be greatly appreciated and like I said never had a problem that thing up after I hit it with that hammer and destroy that shot I bought a new one and put it on and I was thinking it should go right back up so please if anyone has any information would be greatly appreciate .. Thank you

When you fit a new air bag you usually use a SDS (star diagnosis system) to actuate the airmatic system manually so that it "fills" the airbag before attempting to get the ride height correct.

Without doing this it they system may think there is a leak due to the amount of air needed to even start changing the rise height and therefore stop trying to pump up the strut.

So what would be the next step for me to check what should I do to try to get that system to go out because it was perfect it was up before after I replaced those parts so is it anything that I need to reset to get it to go up any suggestions or anything that I should do will greatly be appreciated thank you so much

Ausmbtech is very knowledgeable. he says that you have to get someone who has the star diagnostic computer to reset the car. i guess you can do it without the star computer.

Well I'm also a person that like humor and I love to laugh and if I see something that I could laugh about I would just makes life better but I'm just trying to get this car fixed I really am .it's a beautiful Mercedes and I know it's got to be something simple
