W204 c200k takes to long to start
Takes 5 to 10 seconds cranking to start.
Never done it before, hasn't gradually got worse. Just started doing it. The car drives spot on once started. The battery is good. No fault codes from snap on solus. Had quality plugs 12 months ago.
Had a forte petrol treatment before doing a 130 mile trip when it started. I'm guessing it's fuel related. Maybe fuel is draining back.
I can hear the pump prime when turning ignition on. Pump is nice and quiet when running.
Once started the car will restart instantly unless it's left for more than 5 minutes. So hot or cold doesn't seem to make any difference.
My apologies if this question has been asked already. I couldn't find it, hence the thread. Any advice would be gratefully received.
