E300 Diesel 1997. Hesitation issues.
Hello guys, Since I got this car I can feel hesitation at low RPM for example in parking lots when you need to be slow and extra careful. Sometime I push the accelerator and nothing happen, push a little more: nothing, a little more and the car takes off suddenly.
Most of the time it is in the 1st third of the accelerator's course. If I push frankly it takes off fine and the engine runs very smoothly. I did 35,5 miles/Gal from HOU to DAL the other day.
Any idea of what it could be? Diesel filter has been changed the 1st day I got it. I still have "check engine" light and a mechanic could not find where it's coming from. In the Dallas area any suggestions about a good MB Diesel shop? Have a great day guys and thanks for your inputs.

Thank you for your response. Is it difficult to visually find out or the car has to be plugged to a computer?
