S211 Rear leveling Air suspension problem
I have a 06' S211 220CDI with rear leveling only.
And since last summer i have had some issues with the air system.
The issue started with the rear dropped all the way to the ground after 2-3 days,
But during the autumn and winter it drops fullt every night.
At low temperatures (-5 to -20) the car drops every night, but now when temp are on its way up again, it drops occasionally, not every single night.
Every time i start the car, i get the fault message "Car too low, please stop car".
I usually just leaves, cause the car will raise and level up and everything seems normal.
I have checked the whole system with soapy water, and i have found only one leak at the compressor.
The leak was in the big black hose thats coming from the filter.(Picture attached)
Leak has been fixed but it still drops every night.
But should it be pressure in that hose?
I Would believe that only would be a suction hose since i think its an air intake.
Could it be the compressor thats bad or what?
Would really appreciate if someone could hve an idea of what might be wrong, because Merc air suspension parts are insanely expensive here in Norway.
