LED front light problems......please help.

Hi all Merc friends.
Frederik from Denmark is writing please help.
I have bought new LED front lights for my 2014 Mercedes A250 (W176)
My car was standard fittet with normal headlights so we are talking no Xenon.
I have bought "expensive but pretty" the new 2016 LED headlights and I can not get them to work.
They have the same socket as the old lights but it dosen't work when I plug them.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ASAP.
Here I have some pictures so everybody know what I am talking about.
Picture 1: the yellow socket in my car for the front lights.
Picture 2: how the old sucket looks like in my old lights.
Picture 3: a picture from the sucket in the new lights.
WHO CAN HELP ME.
LOOK SO MUCH FORWARD TO HEAR FROM YOU.

Maybe the lights are defective, try supplying power to test them without plugging in. But on a different thought, I looked into LED , I couldn't find any that got a good review, my installer liked or were made by company with known quality. I went Phillips hid and am more than happy (aim your lights down with HID) so you don't blind people. I've also heard of error codes when trying LEDs , since they use less watts

Now I have been to Mercedes and they have tryed to reprogram the car to led lights.
They could't get it to work eighter.
Very fustrated. It seems like that the most cars now a days is so complicated so if they cant just plug them they have no idea of what to do.
((((((
I am pissed and considering if Mercedes is the tight choise for me next time.
People dont seem to have the drive to soleve problems now a days.
They just want to go to work to get their salery.......not to do a great piece of work.
((((
If someone out there have a clue about how to get my original Led lamps to work. Please let me know.
Thanks to all of you.
Regards Frederik

I have all my aftermarket work done at a good local stereo shop, find a mechanic that can text the lights and Harness, I've bought cables with pins in the wrong place, who knows, everying has to be tested. Leds draw less power , maybe that's affecting the computer?

Any decent mechanic should have the experience to do basic electric testing, just ask.

I would verify the light works and the + - pin location by getting it to light up outside of the car, on a bench, with a separate battery, then find the +- terminal pins on the car lighting harness. See that they match up. I got a " Mercedes " Iphone Jack that had pins crossed wired up, and a few pins missing. I think your light doesn't work , or the wiring isn't correct. To get no light, no dashboard warning, doesn't make sense.

You're going to have to get a wiring diagram of your car & the 2016. And then compare pin locations. I can try to find them on my Mitchell computer system, but you have a European benz. I don't think I have acess to those. I wouldn't put power to them on a bench unless you know which terminals are power. Run the car without headlamps hooked up and see if you getting a dash warning. Then pull the bulbs out of old heads and plug them in. Definetly should get a warning lamp.

It won't hurt anything using a volt meter to test the cars harness, it's done all the time for hooking up accessories and aftermarket upgrades

You don't short anything , a test meter is designed to determine that without causing problems
