ECO Function
 

I recently purchased a 2015 MB that has the ECO function. This "function" is annoying and dangerious. Dangerious when you're backing out of a parking spot in a crowded parking lot, you must hit the gas for the 'system' to release the brakefor so the car to go backwards, rather than letting the car go backwards by just slowly releasing the brake.


I know pushing the button each time you start the car it shuts the function off. But, is there a way to "disconnect' the system completely, either manually or electronically. The dealer said he is not allowed to disconnect the system.


Any help would be appreciated, other than "just push the button".
