Hi all
I have just installed the sept 16 Epc/wis and although it installed okay and I can login when I click on epc or wis icon it flashes but will not open when I look into it it said unavailable is there anyone that can help a thick old man?.

Just an update I have just noticed that if I go into server edit access authorisation it is saying users 0 of 2 so I think this may be the problem but I don't know how to fix it

I have removed and reinstalled EWA and although now I can open eps and wis it will not show anything and it is still saying 0 of 6 in edit authority.

First, is your system XP or WIN7???-----Is your system networked or standalone??
What version of EWA NET EPC and WIS are you trying to install?? Prior to EWA install what version of Java did you install or did you install Java after getting a red bar when logging in??-----keep your answers brief--this is not simple and takes time!!

It s on Windows 10 pro version no 124.258.21 I removed java after removing ewa then installed java from link in ewa.net if you have a look at post apart from screen shots I have put a thumbnail of version.

wis 3.12.10.1
i installed java when orange warning came up at login
through ewa net.
but last time I removed java before fresh install of ewa then installed as first time.

Ok, you express the version info differently than most of us, therefore I will ask how many discs or iso files do you have for the EPC version and how may for WIS???
For a new standalone install of EWA NET EPC and WIS you need the following number of iso files!
EPC=4 (a1,b1,b2.b3)
WIS=2
FYI, b1,b2,b3 must be from the same version------a1 can be from the most current update, as an example I used a1 from update version 10_2016 and all the b's from the full baseline version 09_2016!!
With WIS you must always use two discs, it just so happens that version 10_2016 is a full two disc.
All this is explained in the User Guide in the readme files.
If you don't have them you will never install correctly!!

Use EWA Clean and uninstall EWA----then uninstall Java and start over with installing from EPC b1 install---then reinstall java reboot open EWA NET do you have a green bar!!!

Assuming you have opened Admin Manager and place the WIS and EPC keys in and mounted the four EPC iso images---go to the EPC tab and install the EPC database---when finished go to the WIS tab mount the two iso images and install----did the install successfully message---if so reboot and volia!!
When I removed old ewa I ran ewa clean VBS with admin but I have read on another site that it sometimes leaves bits in registry could this be the problem also my last epc ISO is 2a same as ISO 2 could this be the problem.

I have created user Dell but I have just noticed that it will not let me activate it when I tick the box and press continue next screen saying do you really want to activate yes but when I go back box is not ticked and as for no 2a iso there are 2 (2a iso ) 2of3 2a iso and 3of3 2a iso.

When you open admin manager to the key input tab the LAN ID or MAC address is given so you can make and or request the correct key set!!

Yes I know but the MAC address was wrong but I have got the correct MAC address now updated activation but I still only get do I want to open or save I click open but all I get is same again.

HI guys i´m having trouble with my EPC and WIS as well, found it on the web but i think databases are diferente from EPC and WIS. Can anyone one help me with a full version doesn t have to be recente just need it for my 02 W209. Installed and reinstalled several time but the only thing i can update is EPC database, WIS Databes generates na error. If you can share another version with me would be great. tks
