My 2008 Sprinter RV has been in storage for sometime, so naturally the battery is dead. So i did not expect the electronic key fob to work to open the doors. However I did expect the manual key to open them and it does not work. When I insert the key into the drivers door, or the rear door it will turn to the right or the left like normal - but nothing happens at all. It does not unlock.

I did get into the car with AAA service , but then the key would not turn the ignition. Hooking up the battery to a booster did nothing either - no lights - nothing.

Any ideas? Thanks. PS I called MBZ customer service, but all they did was transfer me around for 45 minutes.
