1996 e320 cranks but no fuel or spark.
I bought a 1996 e320 with 250K miles for my Nephew. Immaculate, in and out. Rides great, put over 500 miles on it before giving it to nephew, NO PROBLEMS. He drove it for a week and one day it wouldn't start. Problem started out that key would not turn to crank in park but did in N. In N it would crank but was not getting fuel or spark. Replaced batteries in key, locks worked, green light and red light flashed as it should on mirror when opening and locking but still no start.
Brought to local Mechanic, stated K40 relay had a bad connection. He fixed solder contact. Started right up. Gave back, drove a day, next day, would crank but not start, added in the red and green flashing "xmas tree" lights on mirror. This time though the remote AND actual key would not lock or unlock doors. Got a NEW k40, still no luck.
NOW, NO Lights at on on mirror, doors wont lock, and the car cranks but won't start.
I am hitting a wall.
