I've seen a lot of threads on the different MB forums describing power loss issues, but none seem to really fit what I'm seeing. 2017 GLE 63s with ~20k miles. When the engine is cold I experience intermittent, brief but significant power loss. It always happens when accelerating from a stop. Doesn't matter if I floor it, or softly accelerate like a blue hair on Sunday. The power loss lasts maybe a second or less but it cuts out enough to send me forward towards the steering wheel. No CEL or codes. The issue disappears after the engine is at operating temperature. Usually it only happens once after leaving the house. I'll try to attach a video. Unfortunately the steering wheel covers the tach when it happens but you can hear the engine noise cut, and the phone jerks forward towards the steering wheel. Still under extended warranty so I've got it with the dealer now. They can reproduce but cannot figure out the root cause. They're getting ready to do compression, leak down and smoke tests.
Anyone with the 5.5L Biturbo see anything like this?
