$1100 in one week...
My 2000 E320 wagon that just broke 37k miles had the check engine light come on. 10 months out of warrantee. Took it in to dealer. Apparently the Mass air filter shorting out -- $700 to fix it. Great. ONE WEEK later, check engine light comes on -- O2 sensor -- $425 to fix. The service rep said he fixes this stuff all the time...Does this sound normal? My car is driven regularly, but lightly. The thing is near mint condition. Last winter the exhaust started rattling and was replaced. Talked MB into covering it since it was only 3mnths out of warrantee. DO THESE CARS JUST FALL APART EVEN IF THEY ARE TAKEN CARE OF!!!!!!! THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!
