The W213 GAP Secret
I have a 2019 MB E class and I’m about to change the spark plugs. No one seems to know or be consistent about what the correct GAP of the spark plugs is.
I’ve been told the following; .030, .028, .033. Since I’ll be changing the coils as well I can’t afford to “wing it”.
If anyone of you folks truly knows the correct measurement I would be very grateful for your input.

If I were in your shoes I would consider .028" correct.
My basis...
M274920 (E20) is your engine based on a random VIN I found for a USA spec E300 4Matic on eBay (WDDZF4KB6KA627350). Put that into EPC and A2701590700 is your OEM plug number from MB. Either made by NGK (SILZKFR8H7S) or Bosch (96347) and both of those are ,028" / .7mm out of the box. Back in the day when I helped manage the Bosch Spark Plug program - the OE specific plugs were always gapped at manufacturing to OEM specs. I'm guessing that hasn't changed, hence the .028" spec recommendation.
As a side note - the E16 engine takes a A2701590600, but that too is .028" per the equivalent suppliers.
