My BenzNinja Experience

I recently acquired @BenzNinja services and had Peter perform a couple of modifications. The whole list of available Special Tunes is here: https://benzninja.com/special-tunes/

I happened to get the Transmission program that remembers the last selected option and adds Agility mode. The description is:

"Sport+" or "Agility" as well as Manual modes can be added to the selection cycle for the transmission (in addition to just E/C and S). Sport+ is even more sporty than the well-known S-Mode. Agility is a happy medium between E and S. Manual will hold the gear until you are ready to shift. Also, in all modes, the accelerator pedal characteristics are changed resulting in more driving pleasure."

Honestly, I found the Agility mode to be more aggressive than the Sport mode. It adds another dimension to tranny responsiveness. And, it is so nice to start in S mode instead of E.

And I got the AMG cluster mod, which is pretty cool.

AMG cluster

Now, when in manual mode, the gears are all listed across the top of the display and the current gear is highlighted.

Peter is very easy to work with. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience.

The tranny update is an awesome way to improve performance with extended factory specs.

Your AMG dash now displays more information to the pilot.

I wonder how the oil temp can be 25°F less than coolant ? (fully warmed up? )

Does that mean the oil heat exchanger is really an oil warmer more so than oil cooler??

The car wasn't fully warmed up, though the coolant temp was. I had only driven a couple of miles when I took the pic. Later the oil temp to to around 210°F while the coolant temp stayed right around 200°F.

I am absolutely loving the transmission program mod. While I am sure there is no increase in hp (why would there be?), the car certainly feels way more responsive.

Recently, I had harsh shifting. BenzNinja ran some diagnostics and restore some transmission settings. Immediately, I felt a difference with crisper (not harsh) shifting. After about 100 miles, the transmission shift parameters adjusted to where shifting under normal driving (not WOT) was almost imperceptible.

Peter has helped me out several times, both when I am connected to the car and other times just to answer questions. He always seems very reachable. I'm a very happy with his paid service.
