SOLD!!! 1997 Mercedes s420 w/86k Miles...Very Clean...AMG Wheels NJ
Hello, up for sale is a sharp looking well taken care of, single owner 1997 Mercedes Benz S420. Dealer maintained and currently has about 86k miles on it and runs and drives excellent. Features everything you would expect from an s-class such as leather interior, double layered windows (for Insulation, better security, to prevent fogging, and to have a more silent interior), power seats, moonroof, power adjustable steering wheel, automatic transmission, power everything, keyless entry and alarm system, amplified sound system, cruise control, traction control, motorized steering wheel adjustments, and motorized doors and trunk, and much much more.
The S420 is an excellent example of German made excellence in motor vehicles. The comfort level is impeccable and is one of the smoothest rides imaginable. The car is perfection at its finest. This is the model above the s320 and before the s500. The 4.2l v8 in the S420 is considered by many to be the most reliable engine of the three models as well as best of both worlds when it comes to power and economy. The mileage, 86k is very low given the year and the car has been very well dealer maintained. Car has had no prior body work or has ever been involved in any accidents, and I have the documentation to prove it. Once again this was a single owner car!
The exterior of the car is in very good shape, paint still shines like new, there is no hazing on any of the lights and all the glass is original Mercedes glass. The front and rear of the car are also in great shape with no noticeable dents or dings. The passenger side power exterior mirror no longer works. All else is fine.
Mechanically the car drives tight and smooth as you would expect. Transmission shifts very smooth both accelerating and decelerating. There are no lit warning lights on the dash. Four new tires were recently put on the car as well as brakes and the normal routine maintenance (fluid levels, oil changes, etc). The car will come with a full size spare as well in the trunk.
Inside the car is nice and clean. No rips on the upholstery and all seats are in good shape. All the electronics work as intended including all the windows, sunroof, power seats, a/c, heat, radio etc. The amplified sound system sounds excellent!
Kelly Blue Book private party value in Excellent condition is $10,800, I am only asking a reasonable $8200 and my price is slightly negotiable. Please don't bother with offers that are unreasonable. Service records from Ray Catena are available and I have a clean title in hand and everything is ready to go.
