P.S.
I added Nav in my 2004 E55 for $600. It is a simple install that takes less then 2 hrs. The other options IMO, are things that may break and cost a tone of money. The keyless, parktronic, power trunk, active seats and disctronic is all not necessary and costly to repair. As these cars age, less options is better IMO. The nav and hids can be added for cheap.

I agree with this. Having an integrated NAV system is far more convenient and aestheically pleasing. I was under the impression that the E55 is a performance luxury sedan, not just a performance sedan - perhaps I'm wrong?

Gorgeous car!
i know, i am sure they will chime in but honestly i checked the 5 or 6 that are for sale at local dealers and my car is still a bargain compared to them. One had my exact mileage and they were asking 39k with no warranty and i only found 1 with 31k miles at 35k again with no warranty and at a shady dealership. All the other cars had over 50k miles and were rough with no warranties .

Most don't understand this and to most,a ding hear & a ding there, low budget tires, service history, number of owners etc etc doesn't matter either. They want to pick up a car for as little as possible not knowing they get what they pay for.
To me, i couldn't/didn't want to buy a new E55 so now when they are affordable why not buy an E55 that's as close to new as possible and i am willing to pay a little premium for that too.

Bump! Price drop again! Asking 35,500! Remember this car has a bumper to bumper warranty for another 4 years or 100k! You will not get this kind of car , mileage and warranty from any dealer at this price!

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
unfortunately,
I have to agree. You may not be taking into account thet fact that E63's (and everything else in this marketplace) are falling as well. No, we don't need to get into the "I wouldn't have an E63" thing, but it does have several improvements, and an 07 is easier to finance than an 06. Nice clean car, just harder than it looks. Going to take a special person to pay all those $$ without nav or Keyless, in that color. GL.

Yeah but it has the low mileage, super clean, full warranty, 469hp-516tq option which is the biggest reason people by this car! Please show me where your going to buy this for 32k with a full warranty and I will lower the price! lol!

Pay no attention to some of these *** clowns on here volunteering comments when they could not even afford the car in the first place. An E63 is NO E55 and although MB market the 63 car as superior, it really is not except for the body kit which is killer. Dont lower your price if you can help it, you will get a buyer, just be patient. Your best bet is autotrader as everyone on a forum wants everything for less and just seems to beat up the seller when in essence they are just tire kickers.
Take this for example, the 03/04 cobra came out with the coupes selling around $32K and the vert's selling arounf $35K plus. Both cars are still hovering around low to mid $20k's after all these years. Now look at the GT500 which came out in 07, their pricing was around $45K and now can be had for the high $20k's. I would not be surprised if they creep up next to the terminator pricing very soon and the marketing aroud the 500 is that they are so superior. They are not in a straight line period. Reason been is the terminator has become an iconic mustang and have held their value like crazy.
I do not know as much about the E55 as been a MB icon, but it sure does have the platform for that, and the depreciation should start level off big time, and start to hold their value nicely.
This will also help the e55 hold it's value if more sellers keep the price they originally wanted.

Thanks CHAWKINS. I definitely don't care what people yap about. The bottom line is I know how much the car is worth and how much dealers are selling them for at retail with no warranty. My price is not unreasonable compared to their prices and what you get for the money. I am definitely not desperate to sell the car and if I don't sell it for a price I feel comfortable with I will keep the car knowing I have a warrantied 500HP car with no worries for the next 4 years!(My wife's infiniti lease comes up in 2 years and then I will buy the suv I want and keep the E55!) I just placed an ad on autotrader so I will see what happens.

Gents, this thread has gone on far too long with several individuals who apparently have not read the admonition about arguing over price. Please read this sticky at the top of all the Classifieds and heed... https://mbworld.org/forums/classifie...uncements.html
