2007 SL55 AMG
FS: 2002 E55 AMG Silver/Charcoal
I'm putting my 02 E55 for sale. I have owned this car for just over a year and have taken meticulous care of it. I have done every service, replaced every wear item, and have always garaged it in my ownership.
The basics:
2002 Mercedes-benz E55 AMG
Brilliant Silver Metallic exterior/ Charcoal interior
136k mi
standard E55 options + Navigation/ CD changer
Service records:
11/7/2010 118000 Transmission fluid, filter, connector plug
11/18/2010 118375 Aux. fan belt, gauge cluster pixel ribbon
11/20/2010 118400 OEM spark plugs and wires (Bosch)
11/27/2010 118685 Service A
12/4/2010 118500 Shifter bushing
1/21/2011 119690 Engine air filters (Mann)
2/13/2011 121750 Left rear wheel bearing
4/29/2011 125090 Differential Fluid (Amsoil)
5/12/2011 125884 Front balljoints and lower control arm bushings (OEM)
6/30/2011 127868 Valve cover gaskets, breather hoses, Service A
8/22/2011 132200 Cabin Air Filters
9/23/2011 132900 Front wheel bearings (both sides, inner and outer)
10/2/2011 133305 Transmission fluid, filter, connector plug
Service A's and B's are performed every 7500 miles, transmission filter/ gasket every 15k miles. Last transmission service, the fluid came out looking brand new. Nothing this car requires or is about to fail has been overlooked. I also replaced the crank position sensor with an OEM one somewhere along the line of ownership. It was not faulty, but it is a common thing to fail on 60k mi + Mercedes and I did not want to be left stranded if it were to fail.
This car is equipped with AMS shorty headers which replaced the factory exhaust manifolds and Eurocharged ECU flash. It is an absolutely blast to drive and retains all factory reliability. No emissions components were modified and this will pass smog test without any issues. It is a beautiful car and it took me three months to find this vehicle. I have driven it to and from Arizona, and numerous times to/from LA.
Interior is in great shape with the exception of the volume knob being a little worn and the back seat bottom has a very small burn mark prior to my ownership. I conditioned all the leather with Leatherique not too long ago. The body in pretty good shape with normal wear and tear on the front end from rock chips. The only part of the car that has been repainted is the rear bumper. Everything else is original paint. There are little nicks here and there from normal use, but overall the paint is still very glossy and the clear coat is still thick.
Included with the sale are a pair of brand new OEM AMG front brake rotors. I bought these to use when the time came to do brakes. Retail is over $300 each.
