Testing the waters. . .Second owner, former CPO vehicle now covered by transferable aftermarket warranty through September 2015/110k miles. Clean Carfax. Current mileage is 83,xxx. All options with the exception of Distronic. Original MSRP in excess of $140k. Mechanically flawless, all maintenance up to date including front brakes and tranny fluid service this year. Major repairs during my ownership (all performed at my local dealer-records available) include rear main seal and ABC pump. Minor cosmetic issues to be expected with a vehicle of this age mileage (road rash, scrapes on underside of front bumper, wear on driver's door pillar, loose rear view mirror, minor curb rash on wheels). No scratches or dings, though there is a factory paint flaw just forward of the sunroof (craters-barely noticeable). Extras include Weathertech rubber mats and custom fit sun screen. I also have a set of 18" OEM AMG five spokes with winter rubber available separately for a cold weather purchaser. More pics when the weather clears here, and I can wash the car!

I'd be shocked if you got anywhere close to what you are asking. The warranty definitely helps but if you get 23,000 I'd consider yourself very lucky.

I know it sounds crazy but these beauties just aren't going for top dollar in today's times.

I saw an amazing 51,000 mile black on black for 19,999. Almost jumped on it. Instead I found one with a few more miles and the ECU tune and Pulley I was really wanting.

Who knows, you may be right. . .OTOH, there are 14 06 S55s listed nationwide on Autotrader. Six are listed at or above my asking price. Mine is the only Designo, and the only vehicle covered by a warranty. If that's what you're after, I'm the only game in town!

Wow that's a lot of car for the money. Good luck w sale. Try listing it on eBay. If you find the guy that has to have a designo you will sell it. The more places you list it the better luck you will have.
